Hi,Running a fresh DNN7 site & have configured smtp settings on the host. SMTP test works fine. Site als has ecommerce module which send out email confirmation of orders with no issues. Problem is when user (non admin) clicks on retrieve password no email come through.

A check of the logs shows error

InnerException: Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender

Any help we'll be really appreciate it. Is there some area in the admin that i need to add the email address? Ive also tried removing settings in Advanced Configuration Settings but that had no effect.

I did remove settings from Admin but that ad no effect. There are emails going out but just not retrieve password

Thanks for all reposnses, although off track.

Issue was that site Administrators account (not host) did not have same email address as the smtp account.

Changed this & works like a charm!
