Hello

I need to remove permission of a page (not from UI it should disable from database), i do not want to show a page to all user  it should only visible to admin. And this all the task i want to do from database.

Is there any way to change permission from database table. if there is any way so in which table will i need to update and what is to update....

Hi Shailendra,

You can set the page permission by modifying the "dbo.TabPermission" table of dotnetnuke. Here, in this table you can change the field "PermissionId" for different permissions. To look into the detail of PermissionId, you can view the table"dbo.Permission" of dotnetnuke.

Shailendra,

I would not recommend doing that in the DB - that is a typical case for using the UI, so why do you want to do that in the DB?

Anyway, if you do so: after you have finished, be sure to clear the cache and recycle the AppPool (from the "Tools" menu when you're logged in as host).

Yes, clearing cache is always a better way particularly when we do any changes form backend, before restarting the website.
