Hello. I have edited the web config file in DNN7 and restrict users from being able to change their passwords. (corporate intranet)

Problem is, host/admins also cannot change passwords for users. This makes it difficult for admins to manage passwords for employees.

Is there a method to get around this? We want to restrict site users from changing passwords, but allow admins to still be able to administer passwords.

This is the edit that was done to restrict password changes

add name="AspNetSqlMembershipProvider" type="System.Web.Security.SqlMembershipProvider" connectionStringName="SiteSqlServer" enablePasswordRetrieval="false" enablePasswordReset="false" requiresQuestionAndAnswer="false" minRequiredPasswordLength="5" minRequiredNonalphanumericCharacters="0" requiresUniqueEmail="false" passwordFormat="Encrypted" applicationName="DotNetNuke" description="Stores and retrieves membership data from the local Microsoft SQL Server database

Les,

if you're in a corporate intranet, why not use the AD Authentication provider?
