My host has a limited DB size to 300MB. So I am trying to find ways to reduce it's size. 2 of the biggest culprits are the tables SearchItemWordPosition and SearchItemWord combined almost 100meg in size. What are those tables for and can/how do I reset/wipe them?

Thanks for any help or input.

If you don't use portal search, you may clear search tables (see http://www.deutschnetnuke.de/tabid/13...) and stop scheduled indexing job (Host > Scheduler).

Can you add a Filegroup to your database? I believe that's what I did to overcome the 300MB database limit.
