I'm experiencing this problem also.  How do I revert back to the old file manager?  I can't seem to find any info on that.  The file manager doesn't show up in my list of module extensions.

Thanks!

"too many arguments" usually points to either database or client code not properly upgraded.
Are there associated items in Eventlog with further details?

No, nothing in the event log.  When I choose the file manager under host or admin, the page comes up with the folders listed and just the series of checkboxes in the right pane.  If I click on a folder, the right pane refreshes with the file names, but the screen is grayed and the wait cursor is shown.    If I choose the refresh to sync the folders I get an error prompt saying folder does not exist.

I'm getting the same results on my development machine and my production server after the most recent upgrade.

I'd really like to go back to the old file manager suggested by others, but can't find a way to do that.  Is the old file manager available for download?  or can it be installed manuall?

Thanks!

Dennis, there is a module for the old file manager in the regular list of modules. I just went to the file manager page and added the File Manager module to it. I put it at the top of the Content pane which pushed the new File Manager down and out of sight. - But not gone. I have hopes that I will be able to use it again after a DNN upgrade.

My installs were started with a fresh version of the early 7 releases.  The old file manager module doesn't appear in my list of available modules or on the extensions page.
