We have a "customer" list where the customer number or unique identifier is stored in the Value field and the customer name is stored in the Text field. We have added a drop down to the Profile Manager in DotNetNuke where the user is then assigned to their respective customer entity from the Customer list. We are doing a form post to a 3rd party and need to pass the Value (which works fine as [Profile:Customer]) and additionally the Text or Customer name as well.

you will need to create your own profile data type.

Can you provide an example of how we would do this so I can share with my developer? I would be greatly appreciative...you always have a world of knowledge from other posts I have seen.

Can you provide instructions on how to achieve this so I can share with my developers? The goal is to have a single source of records where those data elements are maintained.

My appreciation for any help you can offer,
Cynthia Allen
