Pop-ups are enabled in site settings. The log in box is a pop-up and works fine, although in Chrome the site loads within the pop-up after log-in which is pretty irritating.

What really irks me, is that there is no error in the event log for failed search or for file manager not loading. I'm at a loss.

I've checked with Firefox, Chrome, and IE. No difference.

I've been through a lot with DNN in the last six years. It's been a while since I had an upgrade go this badly, and without any errors reported. I really don't want to roll back to 7.0.5. I think I may finally have hit the end of the line with this product.

Problem solved, for the short term. I rolled back to my 7.0.5 backup. Not a perfect solution, but I'll take a functioning system over the alternative.
