I am looking for some help in re configuring, our volunteered run, addiction recovery site.
I am a co founder of
RecoveryRealm.com, which has been using the DNN platform since 2006
Since we first came online, how individuals connect with one another has drastically changed and
our website needs help in configuring all that DNN has to offer in providing a social networking community.
We now need a responsive site that can be accessible to not only web users but also tablet and smart phone users. We also need to be able to take full advantage of the Social modules DNN has developed.
We are hopeful a DNNizen will be able to re configure our site so that it has a feel of not only facebook but also the addiction recovery site
OneHealth.com, as seen in their 'Members' section.
This would certainly be challanging, but I am confident that one or more DNNizens will come to our aid and be willing to freely share their knowledge, talent, skills and ideas in providing an online avenue for addiction recovery.
Yes it is true that there are many offline organizations available to help in recovery, but not everyone who's addicted can get to those organizations. For some people with special needs like the deaf, the visually impaired and blind, the disabled, the homebound and for geographically isolated alcoholics/addicts, "cyberspace" offers all of these the chance of forming a Recovery Community.
You can Make a difference. I hope you will !
