In the Activity Feed under Manage Profile there is a drop down list with "Public, Members Only, etc." I am trying to get rid of this (The link below will take you to an image with a Red circle around what I am trying to get rid of.) How would I go about getting rid of it? Thanks!

this is the control that allows the user to set whether their profile field is visible to all user, only members of the site etc (if you are an admin/host you can also set admin only i.e. the field is not visible to the user), so normally would be kept there - however if you don't want it log in as host and go to admin->site settings, click user account settings and scroll down and uncheck "Display Profile Visibility"
