I was using the iconbar before on my 7.1.2 platform with no problems, but after I upgraded to 7.2 I got the error below:

'An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: An entry with the same key already exists. ---> System.ArgumentException: An entry with the same key already exists. at System.Collections.Generic.SortedList`2.Add(TKey key, TValue value) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.DesktopModuleController.GetPortalDesktopModules(Int32 portalID) at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlPanels.IconBar.BindData() at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlPanels.IconBar.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---'

I switched to the ControlBar and everything seemed to be fine until I tried to add a new module today.. it says 'Loading Modules' but the modules don't load.. switching to the RibbonBar throws the site into a redirect loop and can't access host account until I switch back to ControlBar in the HostSettings database table.

I have a meeting in the morning with an important client so this is extremely urgent.. thanks in advance for any help folks!

Rob

Edit:

Admin event viewer error:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: An entry with the same key already exists. ---> System.ArgumentException: An entry with the same key already exists. at System.Collections.Generic.SortedList`2.Add(TKey key, TValue value) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.DesktopModuleController.GetPortalDesktopModules(Int32 portalID) at DotNetNuke.Web.UI.WebControls.DnnModuleComboBox.GetPortalDesktopModules() at DotNetNuke.Web.UI.WebControls.DnnModuleComboBox.BindAllPortalDesktopModules() at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlPanel.AddModule.LoadModuleList() at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlPanel.AddModule.LoadAllLists() at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlPanel.AddModule.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Figured it out!

The problem was a duplicate row (damn Module Creator..) in the DesktopModule table, solution is described here:
