I have created a vendor  under admin menu . Also created a banner of Type text. When I update the banner advertising and go to my website I still see "Sample Banner Use Vendors module to manage site banners"

I am also trying to have a rolling banner is it possible in DNN 3.2.2. Can anybody help me on this and trying to solve this before doing a demo next week.

Banners can be added and handled at two levels, Host or Site. You probably configured it at one level and added the banners at another.

Rolling banners are not supported.

I logged in as a Admin and have the banner advertising as  Site. Then I added the vendor , added the banner of type text just to show the sales awrd for every month and update and look at the site it still shows "sample Banner..."

I also have added a banner module to the top pane and tring to show the text. and it is also not showing the banner?

 

Am I doing anything worng? Let me know

Make sure the Banner Group you typed in when setting up the banner matches what is set as Banner Group in the banner control.  These have to match.  This is done this way so you can have groups of banners and have different pages use different groups of banners.
