After a fresh install of Dnn CE 07.02.01, I was adding users while logged in as the Super User. The 8th user added did not appear in the Users Accounts listing. I tried to re-enter the user and received the following error: “A User Already Exists For the Username Specified. Please Register Again Using A Different Username.” This user does not show up in the User Accounts or the Member Directory.  I cannot login with this Username. After checking the database, I can see where this user is listed in the aspnet tables but not in the User(s) tables.  The 9th user was added properly.

I would really like to use this Username (it’s mine). Does anyone know how to best correct this without having to start over?

you will need to enter the database. it looks like there is a record in Users table, but a record in userportals table is missing

The aspnet_Users and aspnet_Membership tables show all 9 records. UserPortals, Users and UserProfile tables only show 8 of the 9 records. Will deleting the records from the aspnet tables correct this? How do I correct the problem?

if there is a user missing in DNN users table, you may remove associated record from asp_net tables as well, but usually it should not harm unless you want to re-use the same username.
Superusers created in Host Menu > Superuser Accounts will not get records in UserPortals table created.

Ah, it was missing from the UserPortals table! Thanks! I wonder how it went missing from there?
