Hi,

I have just upgraded from 7.2.0 to 7.2.2 and I can no longer access the Host Settings. The error message I get is below.

Anyone have any ideas

Thanks

Tony

Error: Host Settings is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: e:\web\public_html\CIS2\hosting\intentsdrinking\DesktopModules\Admin\HostSettings\HostSettings.ascx.cs(97): error CS0103: The name 'lblProduct' does not exist in the current context ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException: e:\web\public_html\CIS2\hosting\intentsdrinking\DesktopModules\Admin\HostSettings\HostSettings.ascx.cs(97): error CS0103: The name 'lblProduct' does not exist in the current context at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean throwIfNotFound, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean throwIfNotFound, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlUtilities.LoadControl[T](TemplateControl containerControl, String ControlSrc) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.WebFormsModuleControlFactory.CreateModuleControl(TemplateControl containerControl, ModuleInfo moduleConfiguration) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleControlFactory.LoadModuleControl(TemplateControl containerControl, ModuleInfo moduleConfiguration) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleHost.LoadModuleControl() --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Fixed.

I uploaded the Upgrade files again, to try and resolve another problem and this fixed my Host Settings problem.

My other problem still exists so I'm going to try a reupload again

Um.. why is this path set to ADMIN :
e:\web\public_html\CIS2\hosting\intentsdrinking\DesktopModules\Admin\HostSettings\HostSettings.ascx.cs(97)

instead of HOST:
e:\web\public_html\CIS2\hosting\intentsdrinking\DesktopModules\Host\HostSettings\HostSettings.ascx.cs(97)

I have no issues accessing Host Settings while logged in as HOST in a 7.2.0 site upgraded to 7.2.2
My upgraded site has2 Parent Portals and a Social Group module installed.

Hi ken,

I have no idea why admin is in that path rather than host, not something I would have control over. That's a DNN thing

Also I was logged in as HOST otherwise I would not have had the option to even go to the host settings

At least re-uploading the files fixed the problem
