I hope this isn't answered somewhere already, but if so I was unable to find it.

How do I uncheck the 'Auto Assignment' box for the registered users role?

Seems like it should be rather simple. It is for the other roles, but in this case the box is greyed out.

Thanks

Bob

it can't be - when a user register's for an account they are automatically a member of this role, so you cannot uncheck this box -this makes logical sense as you can't be a registered member of a site without being a member of the registered users role

Thanks Cathal,

Yes that makes perfect sense.

I'll just make sure 'Registered' users have minimal access.
