Hi I have a site, with Multilanguage with content localization. When I use the DNNFriendlyURL provider in advanced mode, it is unable to switch languages on certain pages. Especially the page which have the same name in Engels and in the translated language. Pages like: home or blog.

So normally page urls in humanfriendly mode looks like:
/en-us/home.aspx
/nl-nl/home.aspx

or
/en-us/websites.aspx
/nl-nl/websites.aspx

When advanced mode is turn on, urls looks like
/home
/home

Or
/websites
/websites

Switching language on the site with the DnnFriendlyUrl provider is not working. Page is always display in English.
Is this a bug? Or is this the way it supposed to work?

Any tips?

BTW I use DNN 7.2.2.

you need to create a (different) default website alias per language in Admin > Site Settings, e.g. "www.mysite.com/en" and "www.mysite.com/nl"

Hi!

I am also experiencing problem with localization and redirection.

Is there any good tutorial on hove to fix the problem. I have upgraded DNN to 7.2.2 and especiall after login the redirect does not work. I could not find any specific instructions how to arrange this.

Also, i have Slovenian langugae with some specific Centrel European characters in page names ( š, č, ž ). How to convert those characters into classic ones ( s, c, z ) ??

Also where can i control URL paramateres? Ie. to convert blank space into "-" or "_" ?
