Hi there,

I know that DNN7 requires Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012 according to the system requirement page.
But is this the minimum requirements?
I mean, what if my machine is Windows Server 2014 and SQL Server 2014, which is a newer system, this should also works with DNN 7 right?

Thanks

yes, those are the minimum requirements i.e. windows 2008 or greater and sql 2008 or greater. All later releases will work as expected (unless Microsoft breaks something in which case this will affect much more than DNN and would be quickly rectified with a hotfix or patch - I am not aware of any such breaking changes)

Thanks for the reply.

Just as I expected, just want to make sure of it.

I am running DNN locally on Windows 8.1 with SQL Server 2014 and didn't meet any issue yet.
