Reading the online manual, there is apparently a way in Site Management to configure a designated DNN page to be the page that comes up whenever someone gets a 404 Not Found error.

However, after upgraded to the latest version, I don't see the available selection setting for the 404 page. Instead, my settings looks like the following.

Does anyone know why the manual shows a different UI that what my install provides?

Thanks,

this feature is not included in DNN Platform edition versions 7.1 and 7.2, it will be included in DNN 7.3.0.
You may use http://dnnurlmanagement.codeplex.com/ to configure this setting in DNN 7.1 and 7.2.

Thanks for helping, Sebastian. Would you know why the manual has this, but not the product? This is unusual. I have never seen a software company produce a manual for features that didn't exist. Was it something that was there at one point, and then was removed?

The Manual is created initially for the commercial products, Since this is an injected setting for evoq, it might be an oversight not to remove it from the platform manual.

The manual is intended for both DNN and Evoq content (there are separate manuals for Evoq Content and Evoq Social which deal with modules unique to them, as well as enhanced areas in platform)- where there is a feature that is Evoq only it will be highlighted (e.g. in this case you can see text such as "Only available in DNN Evoq Content and DNN Evoq Content Enterprise" on the http://www.dnnsoftware.com/Content/Do... page). The manual is being updated for 7.3.0 at present so expect that to change shortly.
