I have a multi-domain SAN certificate installed in IIS. I can access both the parent and child portals over SSL but the child portal does not serve the pages properly, other than the home page. The parent portal is one domain and is run off of the Default Website in IIS. 7.5 The child portal has its own website in IIS on the same machine (therefore same IP) but a different domain. I have had a system administrator check that the certificate is installed and is working correctly for both domains in IIS 7.5 (and the DNS service is working). How does one set up secure sites running over SSL for both parent and child portals on different domains but the same IP in DNN 7?

If you have one install of DNN with multiple portals, then you only need one website in IIS.  DNN will handle the redirects to the other portals as needed.  

Therefore if you have a site with two portals.

Portal 1: www.example.com
Portal 2: www.differentexample.com

You would setup the bindings in IIS to service both of those domains on your one install of DNN.  

When someone accesses www.example.com it is passed to DNN and then DNN handles which portal to show them.

Sorry, that should have been two parent portals on different domains (one DNN installation) i.e  domain1.blah.blah and domain2.blah.blah. This is working correctly serving from both sites over http. I have installed a SAN certificate for the sites in IIS 7.5. It appears to be functioning fine in IIS. I can access both the sites over SSL. The first site works properly over SSL and all pages can be accessed. The second site, I can only access the home page over SSL. It still works fine without SSL. How should this be setup with DNN?

To start off, I don't have experience with SAN certificates, with that said this link seems to indicate the setup you described should use a Wildcard certificate.

For a variety of architecture reasons, we are using the FQDNs. Anyone with experience with SANs and DNN in IIS 7.5?
