Hi,

My website is running DNN 06.00.01 (310) Professional Edition. The website runs seamlessly when viewing from outside, however, it gets really slow - though it will load - when log in to Admin account for site maintenance.

Does anyone know why this is happening and maybe a fix to this issue?

do you mean it loads fine as an internet site but not an intranet site - or just that admin pages load slowly for all users? If so there shouldn't be such a noticeable difference - whilst admin pages typically have more content (primarily through the control panel) this is only a few hundred kb more. It might be an idea to check your jquery settings in case they are using a CDN that is inaccessible (jquery is loaded for the control panel, but often not for normal pages). I would also recommend checking the page performance via the f12 browser tools (or firebug in firefox), or via a http proxy such as http://www.telerik.com/fiddler to see if that highlifghts an issue (it can occasionally show that the problem is network latency, or an unexpectedly large file or a slow proxy or failing cdn)

I would also check the database, since the module and page output cache is not used, when being logged in.
Check file size, Transaction log should not be much larger than database, while eventlog and schedulehistory tables should not contain more than a few hundred rows.
Also check SearchItemWordPosition for duplicate entries - if this is the case, you should clear the search index (http://www.deutschnetnuke.de/tabid/13...) and re-index from Host > Admin.

Check logging. I had all the defaults turned on and it was storing a lot of useless info (for me) and slowing things down. Making changes helped out with that.
