Hi Brucie ,

I found that if we change htm  to html inside "path="*.htm" " of handler inside web.config then HTML 301 redirects start working but .htm redirect stops and if we add .htm inside "path="*.htm"  rather  then .html then 301 redirect for html stops working .

My old site was having both .html and .htm pages therefore I need a way to make 301 redirect work for .htm as well as for .html pages.

Please help me with this issue . I am using licensed version of Infinity Urls module.

Thanks
Pranav

You should be able to add both .html and .htm as handlers in the web.config file.  You could experiment with the order they are listed in, but it shouldn't make a difference.  You also need to make sure that any .htm has been removed from the 'ignoreRegex' pattern.

Hi Bruce,

Sorry but I am facing another major issue with the module .

Every page is accessible via two urls http://www.reltekllc.com/productlist.... as well as http://www.reltekllc.com/productlist . Whether you disable the extension inside page url or not there are two urls for each page and this is really creating trouble for google cache and SEO .

Please help me I don't want urls with extension and need a way to 301 redirect all aspx pages to non extension.

Thanks
Pranav

All you need to do is switch on the option to 'always redirect unfriendly urls'.  It's one of the first options for the module.  This will redirect from one extension to the other.
