I would like the same behavior like Facebook.

When you type fb.com you have a homepage with some info, register and login.

When you're logged in, if you type fb.com or click on the logo you're sent to your news feed page.

How to do it on dnn7?

I'm actually using it.

After Login, the user is sent to Forum page.

The Home page has useless information for logged users, so I made it visible only for not Registered Users. This way, when the user logs in, the Home page is not even on the menu.
But when the users click on the site logo or type root URL, the Access Denied page is shown. That's what I would like to avoid.

The behavior desired is like bellow:

When anonymous:
website.com > Home
logo click > Home

When logged in:
website.com > Forum
logo click > Forum

I've thought to make it by using only Home page with both modules from Original Home page (visible for anonymous users only) and modules from Forum page (visible for registered users only). But I'm not sure that this is a good approach.

Do you have any suggestions?

I would take the approach that Michael has said, use the permissions on module level.

Another option is...

not to use the Dnn logo control and hard code the logo into your skin file using some logic to redirect the user to the right page by role....
