Hi All,

I'm a (very) new administrator of DNN 7.3.3 and I have a couple of questions:

Firstly, I've read about how to change the content of the registration emails in the language files and global resources, and I think I should be fine to do that... but I've noticed that the notification digests come into the admin account in a nice template that seems to be based on the files EMAIL_MESSAGING_DISPATCH_BODY.Text and EMAIL_MESSAGING_DISPATCH_ITEM.Text, while all the other emails, registration, verification, account change, etc, seem to come as just the content of their resource, rather than in the neat template. Is there some way I can change them so they automatically use the Messaging Dispatch template, or do I need to add the HTML to each of the text files to get them to display like that?

Secondly, I have tried to set up the paid subscription functionality using the integrated DNN functionality, as well as via the Ventrian plug in. I don't seem to be able to get either of them to work. The only way I managed to get people to be able to sign up to a specific group was either by providing a RSVP code and pointing them to the Services tab in their profile, and then it didn't take the payment details, or by setting the group as auto add, in which case, again, they weren't asked for payment details. I'm currently getting around it with a Paypal Subscribe button, but I'd like to use the integrated subscription tools (or the one I've paid for)...

Does anyone have any suggestions for either of these issues?

Many thanks,

Vetch

To modify text of Emails, you wiill have to edit the resource text, sorry.
For paid role membership I strongly suggest using a 3rd Party solution like Ventrian Subscription Tools. AFAIR there were some Setup instructions on www.ventrian.com or included in a readmy file.

Cheers from Germany,

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for the reply. I'm editing the resource texts, seems to be working fine now, thanks.

I have signed up for the Ventrian Subscription Tools, but they still don't seem to be working... Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Vetch
