i was under the impression that using linkclick  for some links, like downloads, would facilitate keeping track of how many times a particular link was clicked.  there does not seem to be a way to do that.  I have a number of links that I set up because the site owner wanted to track the number of times that each of the links was clicked.  After reading lots of posts and searching every instance of linkclick on this site, I do not see a way to do that.  I have searched the tables looking for relevant entries, but can find none.  The only way I can find the info that I want is through the IIS logs, but my host only keeps the available for four days and for every site I have to remember to go in and download them manually.

Am I missing something here?  is there some capability that I have overlooked or  Should I convert all my linkclick links back to plain old normal links and rely on the IIS logs?

If you're using the Documents module and have link tracking turned on, you can Edit a line item in the module and the # of clicks is listed at the bottom.

The table storing the data is UrlTracking.

another Feature of LinkClick.aspx: permissions for Folders are applied. If permission is granted to registered users only, a user is prompted to Login.

i initially set them up  linkclick links, (everything I am and was referring to is in HTML modules) but I cannot find anything in the documents module to enable link tracking.  How is that done?  The URLtracking table has virtually nothing in it.
