We have a site that is using the RevIndex Shopping cart and the search feature is damaged.  Here is the link so you can see the site:
http://kirbysales.netoneplus.com/Prod... Try the search option and you will see the error.
I was given these directions because my DNN search index is possibly corrupted. "Try re-indexing by going to Admin > Search Admin page and click on Re-Index Content."

I don't have a "Search Admin" within my DNN Admin section even logged in as a supper user.

Here is my screen shot to show you my options.

Here is my server info:

Product: DNN Platform
Version: 07.03.03 (117)
Data Provider: SqlDataProvider
.NET Framework: 4.0

it looks like for some strange reason the module has not been placed properly in admin menu during upgrade.
Please check Host > Settings for a current Search Admin module (should be at least DNN 7.2.0).
if available, go to admin page, add a child page "Search Administration" and place the module onto it.

Hello Sebastian,

We don't even have the "Search Administration" module available to add. We are using version 7.03.03 (117).

this sounds like an upgrade issue where the module definition didn't get created.
easiest option to fix would be using a complete version of DNN and create a package of the module, you would be able to install on your site with the issue.

Hello Michael;

I have never seen a core module such as Search Admin fail to install in released code.

My 1st thought is it was mistakenly deleted from this installation and needs to be replaced as Sebastian has pointed out.

Still, the fact  this module did magically disappeared concerns me as one can only EDIT this module and not delete it via the UI.

Would you please post the error message that's in the Event Viewer from this failure?

Lastly, would you please verify in the web root that you have this path:

\DesktopModules\Admin\SearchAdmin

And that the SearchAdmin folder has 4 files and an App_LocalResources folder
