We recently made our site multilanguage.

But when a user tries to resend his password using the 'Reset password' on the front login page, he get's an url which includes the language 'parameter' like this... http://xxxxx/nl-nl/default.aspx?ctl=PasswordReset&resetToken=9b127815-489c-4fad-96eb-d990e4da6f7c which isn't working.

The correct link should be without the /nl-nl/ in the url.

I have no clue where to look first :/

which DNN version are you running?
did you make sure to have proper URL in the translation (use latest DNN language pack)?

We are running v07.04.01

I don't really know what you mean by the proper url. The reset password uses a standard template from DNN. I see he uses [portal:url] to get the url in the template.
Didn't set it up myself the multilanguage, but I've been told we don't use the DNN language pack. We add languages and then translate the .resx files in DNN

The site is running v07.04.01 (280)

According to my colleague (because i didn't configure the site) we don't use the DNN language pack. He told me we just add languages to DNN and then translate the .resx files from our project.

I am not aware of a link issue in latest DNN. Are you using Advanced URLs (without .aspx) and defined a Primary alias for each language?
