My website within the event log logs all successful logins for all portals and it has been that way for 2 years. Recently with additional users I have noticed a few instances where there are users logging in and it does not turn up in the DNN Event Log. How I noticed this was my DNN instance has an online ordering part so I would get confirmation that an order has been placed. Customer calls and said they received an error on their screen.Event log does not show error or even that the user logged in. The site log confirms that the user in fact was logged in and the pages that were visited. So my question here is what would make the DNN event log not log user's logging in?

maybe the users used "remember me" option?

Thank you ever so much. Yes it was checked in the host settings and now it is not. Now I have another question. Will this setting still be enabled for that particular user that checked that remember box? I was checking and it was based on the PersistentCookieTimeout which mine is set to "0", and always has been set for that, if that helps your answer.

if PersistentCookieTimeout is set to 0, the login credentials should not be preserved.
I am not sure, whether login using an external auth provider (Twitter, Facebook, ...) will cause login to fire.
