On our development DNN box (v7.4.1), I'm ultimately trying to get Verified user-registration working, but it is not.  I tried setting it to Public registration, but this too doesn't work.

I click on the registration link and it opens the registration page.  It displays User Name, Display Name, Email Address and Password/Confirm text boxes; this appears good.

Yet, the Add New User button appears to be grayed out and when I click on the button, nothing occurs.  The registration area flashes and I see the "waiting" icon displayed quickly, but then it disappears.

When I'm logged in as an administrator or super user, the button is colored blue.

Is there a new security setting somewhere that I'm missing?  Thanks..

are you using DNN default skin or a custom skin?
Do you use a registration page (see Admin > Site Settings) or just the registration control?

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for the reply.

This is a Verified registration page.  I was using the User and Roles module prior for the user registration and this was working fine until recently.

I updated the page to use the Registration module, but as before, the Add New User button doesn't do anything and it appears to be gray'd out.

Yet, if I'm logged into the system using a Host account, I can go to this page and add a new user without any issues.

I've switched to the Gravity - Home skin, but still same issue; normal unauthenticated user trying to register with the website, gray'd out button.  Authenticated Host user, blue clickable button.

Thanks..

EDIT: I removed the country display/required settings and now all of a sudden, things are working fine.  I'm able to register as an unauthenticated end-user hitting the site for the first time.  Not entirely sure why this occurred, but on our development box, everything appears to be working fine; even with the custom skin.

Thanks for your assistance..

If the button is greyed out, there might be a configuration issue with ASP.Net membership provider in your web.config file, which doesn't match registration settings.
Another issue could be a client side script error, e.g. DNN conflicting with the skin applied to the page.
