In the profile page, I am using "View Profile" module for some custom profile data. (Please suggest me if I have another good solution instead of using this module)

I am using Yes/No option with a checkbox datatype custom profile property which is allowing to change only for admin.

But This is not readable for unregistered users. I need it readable for all registered and unregistered users. Now it is giving "XXXXXX" value for unregistered users. Also, I need this to be unchecked by default and admin can check it if the user is qualified  for it.

This is the settings of the custom checkbox profile property.

Please, can you advise?

Thank You!

Y Ma,

I think this is possibly a bug. Please check the bug tracker if it is already reported or fixed in a newer version than the one you use (you did not mention which one, so I don't know), in this case place a comment or upgrade to the newer version; otherwise report it there please.

Happy DNNing!
Michael

Thank you for the reply.

Also, I checked for the registered users as well. I mean I logged in as user "b1" and checked "b2" and "v1" profile's. I can see the value as "XXXXX". I thnk I am getting "b1" values for this. Not sure.

But when I logged in as and admin and checked "b2" and "v1" profiles. I can see the values properly as "True" "False" values.

Where can be the issue?

Is this for DNN 7 only or Is this same for Evoq 8.1 as well?

Please advise.

Y Ma,

I guess this is an issue in the DNN 7 platform (if it is an issue) - which is the base of Evoq 8.

Happy DNNing!
Michael

please check value of column "Permission" for this Profile Property in ProfilePropertyDefinition in the database.
