Hi all

I have one DNN install (v7.4.1) which is giving grief, I initially added a default value to the Country field but when I attempted to reverse it - by removing that value and updating the property I received the following Site Settings Error (from Log Viewer):

InnerMessage:Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression.

InnerStackTrace:

   at DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserController.GetDuplicateEmailCount()
   at DesktopModules.Admin.Portals.SiteSettings.UpdatePortal(Object sender, EventArgs e)

I now receive that error every time I click Update in Site Settings.

For anyone interested, I did a direct connection to the db and found that since the 7.4.1 a few duplicate email addresses had been created.

Finding those duplicate user accounts (email addresses) and deleting them (and purging) fixed it.

how was it possible to register multiple users with same Email address, if you turned on the requirement for unique emails?

Hi Sebastian

I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but there were a few duplicate accounts that existed prior to the update - most likely due to an import.

Thanks,

Chris
