Good Morning All,

I have been beating my head up against a wall with this for about a week (on and off).

I have a site and on the news module if you select the RSS feed button it gives you the link of the unformatted feed.

/DesktopModules/News/API/News.rss?TabId=106&ModuleId=559

While having the site tested for vulnerablilities, they noticed that if you remove the end of the url (/DesktopModules/News/API/News.rss) and try to access the feed that way, it prompts a security window.

The problem with the window is it is vulnerable to brute force attacks as it allows as many attempts as possible.

My question is, can I have this popup not happen, or redirect to the original page /DesktopModules/News/API/News.rss?TabId=106&ModuleId=559, or just block it from showing with no popup?

that would require a change in whatever 3rd party module is providing the news service framework calls (its not something shipped with DNN platform)
