Hello,

My i've a required field in the registration of new users at my website.

I would like to see in User Accounts or other place, what they put in that field without editing each user information.

Now to see that information i've to edit the user information.

I would like to see it in the users table, like the name and e-mail.

How this can be done?

Thanks in advance,

Regards

AFAIK there is no option in User Accounts module, however, Membership Directory module is templatable per instance, you could create a proper instance in admin menu for your use case.

Now, if I understood your request properly: you want to have a possibility to include in the default DNN registration form a custom User Property which could not be edited by the users themselves afterwards.

If so, I don't think if Sebastian's answer covers the whole story.

I personally set up in my one of my websites a custom User Profile property, namely a drop down field to choose from the options whether a future user is a student at a high school or a student's parent or a person not affiliated with that school at all.

Such User Property can be edited only by Administrator, but not by Users themselves. Of course you can set it up to be editable by them, too. Depending on the value chosen from the drop down list the Administrator assigns the roles to each User.

Should you need further assistance do not hesitate to send in your questions but the whole set up process is pretty straightforward.
