In the last few days we came accross with some strange behaviour of DNN. We have more than 80 portals, the biggest one has around 1500 pages. Suddenly we've started receiving "Timeout expired" errror while trying to add new page (tab) in Page Management section. The problem occurs just on portal - the one with around 1500 pages  (which is not set as parent).

We've searched previously placed threads, but haven't found any useful information.

The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The wait operation timed out at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection. check size of the database transaction log and eventlog.
If this doesn't help, you may want to have a look at my Turbo scripts
http://dnnscript.codeplex.com
Please read instructions carefully.

Thank you for your prompt response. Is DNN Community version even capable of handling portals with huge amount of pages? We've already tried your TurboScripts but with no success.

TurboScript may only solve issues in DNN core, not with 3rd party extensions (and of course, it cannot heal the performance limitations in .Net code).
Did you apply the included database an DNN optimization scripts as well?

Obviously there is an error with DNN core (Page Management section, no 3rd party modules involved). What about rebuidling indexes on the Tabs related tables? Actually any information where to look to solve this issue would be very welcome.
