I recently upgraded a site from 4.9.5 to 7.3.4.   I just had a user register and I got a notification email like I always have, but it now is an HTML email which looks very nice.  (I have no idea what the user received.)  The email I received has several broken image links and urls that are missing the base website url.

I think the template is coming from EMAIL_MESSAGING_DISPATCH_BODY.Text  The HTML code for this looks just like the email that I received.

It is using the following tokens:

[UNSUBSCRIBEURL] - What I get in the email "http://tabid/272/ctl/Profile/userId/3..."
[LOGOURL] - No image is displayed, broken link.
[NOTIFICATIONURL]   - What I get in the email "http://tabid/272/userId/3/Default.asp..."
[SITEURL] - What I get in the email "http://"
[MESSAGEBODY]  - This has the info of Date, Display Name, and email which are correct.  However there is a broken image link

Does anybody know where these are set or read from?

Have a great day!

Larry,
emails from site registration, role membership etc. are EMAIL_USER... etc.
The one you mentioned is just for the digest or forwarding of site messages, as configured in user profile.
Are you using english default language or did you modify the templates yourself?
Use the language editor in admin module to compare with default texts.
I also suggest using at least DNN 7.4.2, which has a number of bugs fixed.

I will go back through the templates and see what I can find.   I have not modified any templates so they should all be stock.  This site is 10+ years old and has always been a DNN site so it has had lots of upgrades.  I am using English Language.

I can't upgrade to 7.4 at this time.   I use URL Master for rewriting and it causes conflicts with 7.4 and the site won't load.  I even set it to use the DNN Friendly url provider and it still won't load.  I have to uninstall  it for the upgrade to work.   I have a lot of site restructuring going on and want the UI provided by URL Master for handling the redirects for the time being.

Thank you for your help

Have a great day!
Larry

there is a migration path for UrlMaster to DNN advanced URLs, see ifinity.com.au.
