Hey everyone-

Been having a frustrating experience with schema markup. No 3rd party tools, or google webmaster can read the schema markup we are putting into HTML on our DNN sites. This is really important for our SEO work, but i just can't seem to get the search engines to read it. I've run my code through the structured data testing tool google provides, and it's coming up correct, so the code itself is not the issue.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Sure the page in question is

I just noticed that after I've pushed the save button, DNN removes the itemscope line from < div itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/LocalBusiness" >.

This would cause it to fail the structured data test. is there a reason DNN is gutting this ?

Here is the code im using before DNN removes that attribute

For anyone else running into this problem I figured out the solution. Our installation had the HTML editor converting HTML to XHTML. the itemscope class is not a valid XHTML attribute, and thusly, it was being removed from the code automatically. I disabled this feature and it is no longer an issue.
