As interface above. the page is divided in 5 sections with different sizes. How to setup the positions and place modules in it?

Each time I add a module, it is just fill up the entire width of certain panel. I cont really know how to adjust its width.

And for section #4 above, it is news module. I don't see it in DNN7. I do see it in previous version from your documents.

Actually, 1,3,4 and 5 are all news modules. 1 and 3 showing picture, title and brief. #4 shows titles only, #5 shows pictures only. Do you have such module built-in already? It is very basic module but I could not find it.

you would need to edit the source code of the Skin (.ascx file) and add panes for 1, 2, 3 and 4 (which will hold 5 as well). Ideally you create a cloned file with an appropriate name and edit it.

Thanks for your advise. I will do it now.

By theway, which module is better for section #3 and #4?

As your advise, I divide the page. add "Mid_left" div, and divide it as "mid_left_top" and "mid_left_bottom".

The green squre above  is "Form and List " module. I can not drag and drop it inside the div "mid_left_top". It just stays after the mid_left_bottom. Is there any other way to change its position? Such as change database or certain ASCX file?

please make sure to add runat="server" statement to the newly created divs.
