Hi, this question is coming from a non coder. I'm trying to find good themes for my sites, though I think with the color schemes and designs I want to make, I'll never find one with the design the way i want it out of the box. I'm thinking either, Bootster with a couple of modifications, or using something like Sharp Look, though that's a bit costly for a single domain (with a single instance license, might think about it), or pulling out the old Expression Web 4.0 and doing it there, or else having someone else in my group run CSS changes manually. Am I missing something simple around here? Also, i'd rather not have to pay up the wazoo for themes considering I really want this to be my own. I'll need lots of description for anything you provide, considering I've got vision next to nothing. Not that I mind paying something, because I don't.

I'd recommend going with an existing theme, and customize it to fit your needs. That goes for either a puchased or an open source theme. Both Bootster and Chris Hammond's HammerFlex are good, though Bootster has a gazillion more options. Or try DNNmDesign if you want something slightly different.

By going with an existing theme, you can concentrate you what you want, knowing that all of the "guts" have been assembled, and you shouldn't have to worry about them.

That's sort of where I was going with this. But hopefully all themes support logos? That's going to sort of suck if not. Though one thing seems clear ... lots and lots of links in any bootstrap-based theme have images with no alt-text on them. Where in the theme are those links held so that I can customize them with alt-text as needed? My friend who uses bootstrap for her site is dealing with the same thing, and she doesn't even use DNN. I see it a lot on this very site, in fact.
