Yay... Take Me to the Community!

Creating a couple of roles and want users to be in either one of them or the other, but not both simultaneously. So joining role A would prohibit them from being able to join role B; or, joining role B would remove them from role A. Something along those lines.

I can see it done via trigger as one possibility but assume others have confronted this need. I really want to use as much DNN profile / role management out of the box as possible.

Can consider a third party product for role management if there is support for exclusive configuration between roles, or custom programming is also an option. Thought I'd ask first since, as I said, I assume this is not a new or unique need on our part.

I am not aware of a built in solution for this, you might check the store for 3rd party extensions implementing this "either- or" membership, sorry.
A trigger would be possible, but might not show up properly in UI of your website due to caching.

Cheers from Germany,
