Hi all,
Was thinking of eventually moving to Windows Server 2016; maybe pretty soon, and was wondering whether NanoServer can support DNN (yet)? It seems to be a nice idea to have a web server with fewer attack vectors, not to mention taking up less hard drive space and using less memory. Thanks for any advice.

Windows Nano Server support IIS, i.e. it should be able to run DNN.
I haven't checked for SQL Server yet, though.

Cheers from Germany,

Thanks for that ... I think the real question now is whether it supports the full .NET Framework ... since .NET Core is all the unnecessary rage at the moment.

SQL does not run on Nanoserver, it requires a Core server. .Net version 4.6 for the latest version of DNN does run on Nanoserver. https://blogs.iis.net/davidso/iisnano
