I restored my test database form production; updates the value of HTTPAlias in PortalAlias.

I've noticed other tables also referencing values for production server. e.h the Urls table containing Url pointing to production.

How do I make sure noting is pointing to production after the restore?

URLs table should contain relative URLs only, otherwise it is an issue in the module generating the records.

The urls table contains values with the server name. e.g.

http://myServerName/MyWork/myTopics/tabid/65/Default.aspx?Command=Core_Download&EntryId=38072

You might perform a replace on the Urls table:

U P D A T E dbo.Urls
S E T Url = REPLACE(URL, N'http://yourServerName', N'http://NewServerName')
W H E R E Url Like N'http://yourServerName/%'

(I had to add spaced into "update", "set" and "where" to pass the security checks in this forums)
