I have had a dev copy of DNN (dnndev.me) on my local machine for a few months. I haven't used or accessed the website for about a month over the holidays. I tried to access the website yesterday and received an error page instead of the home page. I checked the database and found the errors listed below. I figured I would just delete the website and database and start over with a new install. The new install of DNNDEV.ME runs to the end of the install with no issues. After the button is displayed to "view website" and clicked the same errors occur.

Any help on trying to debug why I can't install a fresh copy or what happened to the original would be greatly appreciated.

There are about seven of these errors entered into the database everytime I try to access the website(by the way the Menu.ascx does exist):

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Unhandled error loading page. The file '/DesktopModules/DDRMenu/Menu.ascx' does not exist.

I would start by looking at IIS. Expand the website and see if any of the folders (desktopmodules) has a virtual directory or application defined, if so right click and remove it. If not, expand desktopmodules and see if something underneath of that has the same.

Bingo!! Thanks Chris!

The DesktopModules & AuthenticationServices were both marked as virtual directories.

Thanks Again!!!
