Hi,

Our server administrator is unvailable for a few weeks and we need to change the SMTP server.

I tried to change it in the DB but I still get an error in the log when I try to get the password reminder.

I don't know where to see the details and they can't be mailed to me because the SMTP server doesn't work.

So ---  where do I change the STMP server if I don't have Host account access?  and How do I see the log files?

Thanks!!!

The mailserver is now working - we just needed to restart the service.

However I would like to know where the log files are stored on the server.

Thanks!

DNN doesn't have its own built-in mail server.  It uses whatever mail server it is set to use.  So, the SMTP server's log files will be located somewhere determined by the mail server.
