Hello Everyone,

This is my first posting here but I have been using DNN from its beginning.  I have a new DNN9.1.1 install with Mandeeps Porto4 and two of their other modules installed.  When I edit the HTML in an HTML module and flip between the WYSIWYG and Source Editor it's changing my tags around and causing issues with my results.  I do realize some of the HTML I'm using technically is not strict XHTML compliant but what the editor is changing it too is not either.  Simple example is <div> inside a <a> tag.  These code snippets are from the Porto theme and others I work with.

My work around currently is writing and storing ALL my HTML in NotePad++ then cutting and pasting it into the editor in the source code view and them saving it without switching back to the WYSIWYG.  If I need to edit the HTML I open the module which opens the WYSIWYG  view which changes the tags around.  Then switch to source code view and re-paste from NotePad++.  This is not the solution I want but for the moment I have to meet client deadlines.

Is there a setting somewhere to tell the HTML editor to leave the code as is?  Does DNN9.2 coming out this month fix this issue?

I have tried this options but it does not work:

    CKEDITOR.config.allowedContent = true

While you are in the editor and in WSIWYG mode, have you clicked on the link just below the editing box? The one for Customer Editor Options?  Try turning off some of the defaults for code replacements. There can be a special config for each site.

Be careful, but there is the option to revert to default if you screw something up.

Ken,

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I am coming across this problem myself right now, and it is annoying the living daylights out of me.
