How can I setup DNN to default to the Preview Mode for Administrator when DNN starts up? 98% of my time is browsing the site and 2% in making changes! Thanks.

I have the same question.  Most of our users who have some level of admin access only need it once a month, and it doesn't make sense to have them request it be turned on each time they want to use it.

Thanks for any help!

Create a new user that does not have admin privledges, then login with admin only if you need to make changes.

You could use a different control panel. I have written one that will persist the preview mode, amongst some other things. You can get it for free from my site. Persisting the preview mode is not the default and needs turned on in the settings to work.

Dave's control panel is great, I highly recommend it. Apart from persisting the Preview state, you can minimize it so that it is hidden for the 98% of the time you don't need it. Plus it provides far more options than the default control panel.

FYI, I while back I logged a feature request in Gemini for the same feature: DNNP-3685 Persist Preview state across login/logout
