Hi,

i have a page which 'All user' has read permission. Now i add one Security Role 'Links Manager' which includes one user. This role is permitted to view/edit the link module of the site.

But if i logon with that user, the user can't edit and can't add links to the module.

What could be wrong (I use DNN 4.3.2) ?

Thx

Holger

It's me again....

I tried the same at 4.3.3 with the same result:

1) If 'All user' has view permission and the 'Links Manager' Security Role has view/edit permission. NO ENTRIES in the link modul are shown.

2) If 'All user' has view permission and the 'Links Manager' Security Role has also view permission. Entries in the link modul are shown.

3) If i permit the 'Links Manager' Securtiy Role to view the modul, entries are shown

4) If i permit the 'Link Manager' Security Role to view and edit the link modul, NO ENTRIES are shown.

Can anybody help me ?

Setting the Cache-Timeout to 0 fixes the problem. but as i read in some other threads this is a BUG in the new version, and should be fixed !
