My company is currently working on a website refresh and we're trying to incorporate the vocabulary taxonomy into the content tagging.  The Taxonomy Management page https://www.dnnsoftware.com/cms-features/taxonomy-management says that after adding vocabularies to the vocabularies section there should be a dropdown at the tags input of page settings that you can select which tags to use. However for us this dropdown just isn't there. You still have to manually add tags. How do I enable this?

Where does the dropdown appear? 

I see in DNN8, when i create a vocbulary under taxonomy, i can check terms in this vocabulary, under Page Settings > SEO > page tags. 

But in DNN 9 (9.3.2) i see no such dropdown, after adding a vocabulary. And in this video (https://youtu.be/sxpjw9OlLh0?t=249)  of DNN Corp (granted: it's 2 years old), they say: "Now, to be honest, i don’t see tooo much of a point of creating a new vocabulary, because there is no place in DNN that you can be using this vocabulary"

Does this mean that this part of the Taxonomy functionality has disappeard?

it seems so - I could not find it either. And: Taxonomy was introduced somewhen in DNN 5 or 6, but I suspect it has never been thought to the end (e.g. localized taxonomies...). I soon gave up trying to use it as I never found the value.

As Daniel said, please go to the new community site, and ask there - chances are good for better replies. Also, you could open an issue on https://github.com/dnnsoftware/Dnn.Platform/issues
