Hi

I notice from upgrading from 4.0.3 to 4.3.3 there is a folder called EventQueue in the portal _default folder containing a file called EventQueue.config.

This was not created in the upgrade process (from source) so I copied it over myself.

Looking at the file (see below) I notice it contains an ID tag.

Do I need to change this? if so what to?

Many thanks

Alex

As long as the folder is there, you can delete the config file and a new one with a new ID will be created for you.

The ID is not specifically used right now, but it was setup this way so that each installation would get a unique id in case anyone wanted to allow messages to be sent between different systems in the future.

Thanks John. Very helpful.

I guess the installation/upgrade process needs to be revised in the next version so that folder is created if it doesn't exist.

Cheers

Alex

The installation is supposed to create the folder when you extract the files from the zip file.

I'll check this out to see if there is a problem with the install.

The installation has the Folder in it so I don't know why it wasn't created.
It also has a default EventQueue.config file in it which should not be there, but it doesn't cause any harm to have it there.

To make sure your EventQueue.config file is created with a unique ID, just delete the old one.
