This bug is more than cache problem...

With the text/html module, when U use it with "don't show container" - the special roles cannot edit it in the form page. Because they cannot see the module and the menu!

I got many parts of my site with no containers showing (better design in my designer's opinion), So this is a big problem when coming to asign users as editors...

If yo have any problems with design and containers I suggest you look at creating an empty container, except with the actions you require for the administrators.

I have a none containers, but it's really just a div tag holding the content pane with a couple of solpart actions, however if you what's required for the forum to work, (sorry I've not checked that) you should be able to have an empty container to keep the information you need, and not compromise with the design.

Not only that, by using the none container method when logged in as administrator,it's almost identical so you're not switching between the default containers for administration while performing particular tasks.

Ahh, the container/designer/admin issue.

Nina has a good work-around for it.

I'm hoping someday we can seperate that "none" container into an actual interface like described here:

Nice.. But!

When creating an empty container with a menu on top of it, and below it... There would be transparent spaces (up & down), for the table row that holds the admin functions...

What I think I missing in DNN is the ability to put a TAG that holds code for edit and code for non-edit.

Something like:

<DNN:EditOnly>
   <tr><td>bla bla bla..
</DNN:EditOnly>

A better idea would be like this:

<DNN:Role value="administrator">bla bla</DNN:Role>

<DNN:User value="Madonna">bla bla</DNN:user>

This way we can make ascx with a little "programing" ability. We can define which parts of an ascx is for this role and that...

I think its great to have this kind of ability.
