I'm new with DNN and have a problem with login on a clean 4.3.3 Instalation. Instalation completes withot problems, but when I try to login through the login page, the site just redirects to home page. When I look to the database log it says login success..
Tryed everything I could find over the forums: cookie cleanup, lowest possible IE security settings, added the DNN site to trusted sites, tried to access through Mozilla Firefox, reinstalled 10+ times... Nothing helped so far. I can login to diferent DNN portals through the same computer without a problem, but it's interesting that when i access my DNN site, no cookie is served from the server. Is there any IIS or web.config setting I'm forgetting about? I'm runing DNN under fulltrust for intranet purposes.
I'd realy appreciate any help.

I had Windows SharePoint Services installed on the same computer. I removed WSS and now it's working properly.
Anyone knows how to install DNN with WSS on the same computer?

I had a login problem too. I tried host/host and admin/admin but nothing worked. I checked the Users table and sure enough it is empty, so I add a user "admin" but then where do set the password?

You need to reinstall your site.  You can't simply add a user to the user table for it to work.  The passwords are stored in the aspnet_membership table, but the passwords are salted and hashed (encrypted)  The other alternative you could try is to register a new user and then copy and paste their password into your host/admin accounts.

Thank you night_day! I thought I had a clean install but I was wrong. The database was a leftover from a failed 4.3.3 install. I recreate the database and everything worked.
