I'm trying to setup security roles for site subscribers.  I can create the roles fine and users can access and select them.  But where does the admin get a notice that someone has subscribed so that they can receive payment and authorize the user in the role?  I don't seem to see any area that shows those that have selected the role in their memebrship services?  How and where is this managed??

If you hook this up to PayPal it is all done for you - the PayPal IPN will associated their user account with the correct role and you get notifed by PayPal. Scott wrote an article on it here.

He also does a Subscription Tools module which makes it easier to sign up (you can see it in action here (need to log in)).

Is there any means to use subscriptions without a payment processor, ie manually?
